Congratulations to Wake Forest senior Tal Feldman for being named to the 2023-2024 class of Schwarzman Scholars!

Tal is a Stamps Scholar majoring in economics and mathematics, and has been studying piano with Professor Peter Kairoff during his time at Wake Forest.

As a Schwarzman Scholar, he will complete a one-year, fully-funded Master’s degree program in Global Affairs at Schwarzman College, on the campus of Tsinghua University in Beijing, China. He has previously held internships with U.S. Government agencies including the Department of State, the Federal Reserve, and the Department of Defense. While completing an academic year at the London School of Economics, Tal was named a Truman Scholar and also gave presentations on artificial intelligence (AI) technology with the local U.S. embassy in the United Kingdom.

Tal plans to pursue a career in economic and technology policy, with a focus on China.
