Student Spotlight: Micaela Creo internship with Austin Classical Guitar
As a rising junior at Wake Forest University I attended an inspiring talk called Art, Money, and Community Service by ACG Executive Director Dr. Matthew Hinsley. Ecstatic about each story I heard, I became an ACG intern in hopes of playing a part in building community with music.
Micaela Creo
As part of WFU Music’s inaugural speaker series, The Future of Music Leadership, Micaela Creo attended a lecture from Dr. Matthew Hinsley, founder of Austin Classical Guitar (ACG), a national leader in music education and outreach.
Inspired by this lecture and her work as a student in Dr. Marco Sartor’s Class Guitar, Micaela completed an internship with Austin Classical Guitar in summer 2024.

The Future of Music Leadership is generously funded by The Program for Leadership and Character and WFU Department of Music.
