Her teaching experiences range from public school to community ensembles and church choirs. Dr. Apfelstadt is editor of a book on women choral composers to be published by GIA in 2025.

The Future of Music Leadership guest series is generously co-sponsored by a grant from the Program for Leadership and Character at Wake Forest University.
