Student Spotlight: Eric Wang
Congratulations to Eric Wang! Eric received Honorable Mention in North Carolina Symphony’s Kathleen Price and Joseph M. Bryan Youth Concerto Competition (Young Artist Division).
The Bryan Youth Concerto Competition is the premier performance competition for young instrumentalists in North Carolina. Eric Wang received Honorable Mention with his performance of Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 1.
Eric was also awarded the Audience Choice Award at the 12th annual Rosen-Schaffel Concerto Competition for Young & Emerging Artists.
This competition, “known for the pivotal role it has played in launching the careers of some of our region’s most promising young artists” was produced in partnership with the Hayes School of Music and was presented during An Appalachian Summer Festival at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC.
