WFUSO Concerto Competition

Overview

  • The competition is hosted in Brendle Recital Hall on the campus of Wake Forest University and is free and open to the public
  • Winners of the competition perform with the Wake Forest University Symphony Orchestra during the Winners Showcase Concert hosted in Brendle Recital Hall and is also free and open to the public
  • Wake Forest University students who currently take private lessons are eligible to apply

2026-2027 Concerto Competition Details

  • Application Deadline for the 2026-2027 Concerto Competition is Monday, October 26, 2026 by 11:59 pm EST
  • The 2026-2027 Concerto Competition will be held on Saturday, November 21st, 2026 (Times TBD) in Brendle Recital Hall on the Campus of Wake Forest University
  • The competition will host a panel of three professional jurors
  • The Concerto Competition Winners Concert with the Wake Forest University Symphony Orchestra will be held Thursday, March 4, 2027 at 7:30 PM in Brendle Recital Hall
