In the Spring of 2024, the WFU Department of Music launched The Future of Music Leadership, a new lecture and workshop series in partnership with the WFU Program for Leadership and Character.

The Future of Music Leadership guest speaker series offers students’ real-world, experiential learning opportunities to discuss career avenues with industry leaders. Each visiting industry leader also participates in workshops with our students, as they grow into leaders and social activists in their music, embodying the spirit of Pro Humanitate.

Our inaugural guest speakers in Spring 2024 were Matthew Hinsley and Shana Tucker.
