World Premiere: WFU Choirs with Dr. Marco Sartor, guitar

On April 28, 2025, the WFU Chamber Choir and Schola Cantorum ensembles performed the world premiere of Forsaken Peaks: An Andean Exile, composed by Javier Farias in Brendle Recital Hall, Scales Fine Arts Center.

This piece was composed for and commissioned by Wake Forest University Choirs. The Choirs performed under the direction of Dr. Christopher Gilliam and with Dr. Marco Sartor, guitar.
